"The Path to ATP" is part of the Curative Design poster series, designed by Eleanor Lutz. ATP is an important biochemical molecule that stores and transports chemical energy within cells. This poster lists the following important metabolic pathways in humans that create and/or rely on ATP:
The HMP Shunt
TCA Cycle (Krebs / Citric Acid cycle)
The poster shows and defines important enzymes necessary to these pathways, and marks which reactions require biotin, TPP, Phosphorus or CoA, and which steps are irreversible (regulatory).
